the building across the way was built by one of the hammonds as a protestant church here in catholic acadian st john valley

the hammonds built the town's main industry lumber mill and a wealthy  hammond from somwhere in new england became the father of the governor of south carolina when some young men from the citadel fired upon abner doubleday starting the civil war

i read clive cussler's account of how he found the hunley from a library book sale book in st pete, fla which was founded by a williams also, then i fled to charleston to escape february and as i was walking on the side of the highway, i looked up and saw the sign to the hunley museum where it is kept

the anchor of the housatonic is still on one of the islands at the mouth of the ashley river somewhere

from our point of view, the housatonic was the first ship to sink a submarine in battle

i went to the bar where cussler and his crew quietly discussed their find imediately after finding it and the bar literally had schotz beer from 'laverne & shirley' on tap !

the pics are on my fb from around 2014 2015 i was there when the a m e church and walter scott shootings happened but left before steve spurrier got the state to finally  take down the confed flag

...well, they were there some of the charleston pics are still there

ambrose hall travelled to and lived in the town of palmyra, ny - or nearby sodus point, ny where the mormon bible was published after it was discovered by joseph smith on a drumlin in manchester ny

i fell asleep in their graveyard once biking to rochester after my spoke broke

really good night's sleep !

oh! ambrose and clarissa are buried in palmyra

ambrose died in 1827 the year the story says the 'moroni' returned to earth as an angel to reveal the mormon bible's location

the youngs, who lived across from the old field farm were related to brigham young

is that why mose looked like john paul the 2nd?

the clark art museum was really haunted ask the guards - but you can't find stories of those either

abner doubleday was from cooperstown and the baseball hall of fame was built by robert sterling clark's brother

they had a falling out because sterling wanted francine, who was french, included in the will

sterling punched his older brother and they allegedly never spoke again

cooperstown was founded by james fenimore cooper's father and the mohicans were the stockbridge indians ephraim williams' father missioned to

perhaps that is how mission park became the meeting place for the american board of commissioners for foreign missions

a chris martin was one of the 'strangers' on the mayflower and gwyneth paltrow learned to act in williamstown

sadly, chris became a carnalist again after the...what did they call it ?

'conscious uncoupling'
